  The martinis are huge, almost double the size of a regular martini. Love the martini flavors, I got the Chai and it was delicious, but it was tricky to find a seat and it was pretty crowded at the bar, but the place it super cute inside and we came here with extended family, aunts uncles, cousins, everyone was happy.

  Our "Go To" place for ambiance and liquid "good time." Without question the best martinis in the two-state area. "Best" meaning high quality liquor and ingredients and expert mixologists.
  
  Mature crowd mixed with youth and the more gentrified. Owner and staff put 100% effort into ensuring all feel welcome, relaxed, and attended to. For 15 years THE neighborhood watering hole for those who appreciate a top shelf bar scene.

  Perks has the most amazing martini menu; some of my favorites are Grapefruit (fresh squeezed), Espresso, Chai and the famous "Perks Martini" which is extra dirty and served with Gorgonzola stuffed giant olives! Each martini comes in a giant glass; a pint, if I'm not mistaken. The owner, Bryan Keilty, is a gifted and expert mixologist and has won many awards for his many tasty concoctions. Perks also serves an amazing array of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches if you're hungry (good idea because of how large the drinks are). The staff are all quite friendly and quirky; the kind of people you want as friends. I should also say that they have live music every night; some of the best known and talented regional songwriters and original music Open Mic on Mondays. The music is never too loud and only adds to the beatnik/romantic ambiance. If you have never been to Perks, you are missing out but be warned; you will surely become a regular!
